Story title: A Night To Remember

DL story: My students studied the World War II internment of Japanese Americans with a focus on the injustice close to home, here in Hawaii. Through an interdisciplinary unit, my students became so engrossed with the topic, that the unit stretched and grew to include a fundraiser, public student work showcase, and commemorative plaque.
