Dear DLMOOC participant,
It’s week 4 of DLMOOC, and we’re exploring student voice and choice. Remember that each week of DLMOOC is a new and standalone topic and a chance to “restart,” so if you’re feeling like you’re following behind, no worries! Just pick up when you can and where you find value.
- Today on Feb. 13, we’re doing a special all-student panel for our “Lens into the Classroom” session at 4pm Pacific (Los Angeles). This will feature middle and high school students from High Tech High and Envisions Academy talking about what they’re working on and what advice they have for educators.
- Everyone is loving this week’s options for developing student voice and choice in your learning environment. Please share your own ideas with us as well.
- Following up on our post on Genius Hour, here are some additional resources you might explore: Genius Hour wiki (with info on Twitter chats), Genius Hour Livebinder, and 20-Time in Education (another name for this). Thanks to Joy Kirr for sharing this!
