Dear DLMOOC participants:,
It’s week 5 of DLMOOC, and we’re looking at deeper learning for a wide range of students. The options for this week are posted here.
If you’re doing a local meet-up around DLMOOC, we’d love to hear about it. In fact, we’d be happy to buy refreshments for your group. Just send us an email at email@example.com for more information.
- We’d like to get your feedback on how DLMOOC is going for you so far. If you have a couple minutes, please complete this short survey.
- This week, our suggested resources include Teaching Channel videos about peer tutoring and supporting English language learners, as well as an article from Rudine Sims Bishop about multicultural literacy.
- Our panel discussion this Monday, Feb. 17at 4pm Pacific (Los Angeles) will feature Thabiti Brown, Principal, Codman Academy; Claire E. Sylvan, Ed.D, Executive Director, The Internationals Network; Rosmery Milczewski, Flushing International High School; Joe Luft, Senior Director, Programs, The Internationals Network; and Ron Berger, Expeditionary Learning.
Also, if you missed last week’s all-student panel, it was great, and the archive is available here.
